October POTM - Farewell to Ordinary Worlds

*Pops out of nowhere and posts in the good old POTM that I so would love to try and become active again in*

    Farewell to ordinary worlds

In the dark of the night,
    My life is in flight.

I cannot remember the days of last,
When the world was so real and beliefs would both contrast.

Stories from my mind had not prepared me,
For all the wonders to discover and see.

The world has brought my soul in a fold,
My being transformed and shaped beyond any threshold.

    I am afraid,
I cannot call out for aid.

    Goodbye to ordinary worlds,
    Farewell to ordinary worlds.

Woooooo hoooo!! Soldat, did you just give me a reason to become more active on AO and more specifically POTM? ... I think so... That's kind of like a double rainbow... so intense.

As to the piece... It pretty much reminded me of my first trip on salvia divinorum. Pretty much exactly, actually. Which means, ts was scarier than anything I could imagine... but good.

Re: October POTM - Farewell to Ordinary Worlds

First off I have to agree with Peach, cause I think all three of us was feeling the same way about POTM... Well with that being said the way this poem spoke to me or what I got from it was nothing is what it seems or nothing is what it use to be, not knowing what the world has in store for you is scary within itself, but maybe I am looking at it differently, maybe that isn't even what you was trying to imply, but that is part of the joys of poetry; trying to figure out the mindset of the writer themselves... Overall it was a good read!!! I apologize if I misinterpret what you wanted me to grasp, but that won't stop me from reading more of your work or stop me from reading this one again...lol

The heart can't lie... Truth is... I love you!!!
