Our laughter was divine
Hands held together
Two hearts intertwined as one
One heart, two souls interwined

His love being true
Her love was being suppressed
All at once it seemed
That fighting was all they did
She ran from her life, her love

The aftermath

She sits in her chair
Wishing she had only showed
The love in her heart
That she always kept suppressed
In the dead of night, she cries
