All of you did great work. I'm proud of those that entered. Writing about a topic is sooo hard. But I read so much creativity! Not one single poem was alike, and that made it a tough cut.

After quite a bit of discussion, the first place goes to The White Wolf that created a poem of enormous size that brought rhyming, a vast amount of vocabulary and a feeling that evolves throughout the work in itself. Me and another judge loved it and another one agreed to it being good so this was the poem that had the most support. It was chosen and adopted so it well deserves it's place in the spotlight.

Enough said, let's head on to second prize.
Eleonne brought about a poem of interest in me and another judge once again, but its subtle nature brought itself upon the favorites with emotions of fantasy. This poem in itself could have easily won first place as well, but the feelings within I think wouldn't touch as much everyone as it isn't something as frequent as love. Love may be repetitive and too much written over and over again in poetry, but it felt original to me so it had to end up first. Let's hope to read more from you again and a prize of no small size awaits you.

And to drop all stress for who will be our last victor, but not the least (since I'm the one giving the prize for third place), it is Peach_follows that takes this position with the adoption of at least two judges once again. This poem may be short, but it brought about something I have rarely seen, the love of a mother to its child in a way that only a mother and poet could in pure coordination. IT makes me smile every time and got to me on a personal level. It may seem simple, yet it rhymes in rythm and is well built as I said earlier in terms of being a poet.

So with this, finally comes what all have been waiting for... PRIZES!!!
About how everyone will get their prizes, the first two are already fully planned so simply PM Dragon Ball and he should get things underway. The third prize shouldn't be any harder to get as well, as Dragon Ball will administrate my contribution.
P.S.: The first place winner will probably be stickified in the poetry section so that it can be justly be appreciated by the masses. The winners are definite, though a few things may change as I haven't made the others proof read this yet. Don't worry about the prizes as they too are definate.
Congrats to all the winners! You all had some really great poems and I look forward to competing against you all again in the next poetry contest!:thumb:

Yes, thank you to all that participated. It was really the toughest contest to date that I had to judge on. Lots of reading and comparing.
It's been a pleasure reading them all, and shows that the members here have lots of skill at writing poems.
Cheers.

Congratulations to you too, White Wolf! ^^ And to peach_follows and to all the others who entered their entries! I would also like to express my gratitude to those who made this contest possible and gave us the opportunity to voice out our inner voices, our judges: Soldat of Life, Kasai, Dragon Ball and Raja_Psyche. I am sure this contest took a lot of your time and effort, and I, as well as the others I am sure, truly appreciate it ^^ Until next contest then! ^-^
