The Road to Nowhere-Journey's End (9/28)

She walked alone
Wondering where to go
where to sleep
where to eat
somewhere to call home

She walked on the road
that everyone knew
lead nowhere
but she hoped it would lead
to somewhere.

She walked on the road
to nowhere and she hoped it
would lead to somewhere

Her body was found later
found in the desert
the flames of hope in her
heart still burned on
the hopeful twinkle
in her eyes
flickered until
she took her last
breath of life
and fell in the bitter
darkness of death
as her whole world
came crashing to a sudden
stop
and her long journey filled with
hope came to a startling end.

i really like this part...
