Rondeau For Resting Souls Of Violence

Fire plumes like Heaven’s flair, birds at flesh tear.
To the sky, unfocused the dead eyes stare.
Powerful men push peace and care aside.
The young fight first when battalions collide.
Only fools rejoice at news of warfare.

The heart has no room for mercy anywhere.
Hate eclipses a desire for what is fair.
Victims body counts rise for someone’s pride.
Fire plumes like Heaven’s flair.

So murder goes on though none seem to care.
Wives wait for men who will never be there.
The Earth at the desert, with red tears, cried.
Creativity makes madness its bride.
Corpses keep the dunes from becoming bare.
Fire plumes like Heaven’s flair.

WOW beast another great poems.
Its pretty deep and i completely agree with you on this poem.
Its easy for the man in charge to sent people to fight because he is not the one who is going to die.
