Zev is correct and what is wierd is the fact that some of the people I worked with did not submit the poems we worked on, how weird.

I think it would be more interesting if you guys picked your partners at random and the most random would be picking the highest percentage off the calculator . So instead of writing with your friends, you would write with the person who has the highest compatibility with your username.

Just a suggestion, to add a little spice to things.

Its my Opinon but i think its a bit unfair to have like 5 or more partners. Like if only that persons name (who partnered up with everyone) is all you see on the vote thingy then its gonna be Semi pointless. Its no fun. Because that persons gonna be more likely to win reguardless. I want to see how me and Peach fair out against everyone else. But now its like im the ant with a bazooka and they're the elephant with the squirt gun. But then again with more talented writers on thier team. im like the ant with a bazooka and they're the elephant with Steel toed boots and a squirt gun.

Im just nagging but it just bugged me. Its to late to change anything and whatever happens will happen. Its whatever.

And yeah before anyone preachs to me, "You could have gotten a second partner." I know that. I can read but I think only someone whose itching to win will have more then 3 or 5 partners.

I have two so far (including you shippo) , but want more.

I don't condone more than one entry per theme usually. I just personally find it a bit over zealous to enter a bunch on one theme for one contest. But that's just me.

However, I have made an exception this month... because its not like I write for the purpose of winning or losing. Writing toward a chosen theme has always been a fun exercise. But collaborating... especially with no instruction on how to go about it.... is a challenge and an opportunity. I know form collaborating with other visual artists, about how challenging it can be. Really digging into the opportunity to collaborate can teach you so much about yourself and how well you work with others. Its even better to find a person whose style of writing is much different from your own, because then you have to figure out how to make a cohesive piece. And the fun lies in hammering out the kinks along the way. Not to mention... this is a heck of a way to get to know some of your fellow AO members.

So, my advice... go out there and collaborate! ^.^ Put on some steel toed boots and get to stompin'! lol

Oh, and I agree also on the more than 5 entries being obnoxious. I do hope you work with more than just myself on this project. But, if there are members trying to collaborate with everyone under the sun then that's a bit much

I couldn't agree more. I would be doing this even if it were not poem of the month. In fact I collaborated with people on the reguolar forum. I have won as many victoies as I set out to. This is just fun and a way to create some very memorable poems. And Shippo, I would still like to collaborate with you. Nothing is ever too late before the month ends.
