December 2008 POTM

This may be a little odd, but bear with me...

Something Different

Most if not all of you have a certain style you prefer; I see it all the time in your work. Nothing wrong with sticking with what you're good at and what turns out the best, but every now and again it's good to challenge yourself by trying a whole new way of writing. So this month's theme is to pick a poetic style you normally wouldn't use. Here are some links with different poetry forms:

Subject matter and type of poem is your call, the only requirements are that you pick something new for you and that you say what style of poem you're using either before or after the poem. Have fun with it, and maybe you'll find a new voice for your work.
