Re: Lyrra's Tags.
There's a lot going on in all of them.
Try to blend your picture in with everything, but since too much is going on anyways....wouldn't work.
On the Malin sigs um...the text doesn't go with me.
I like the text on lucky star though.
I love the background on your last tag.....but the image doesn't go there.....but I love the background ^^;;;
Sorry about the criticism u___u;;;

Re: Lyrra's Tags.
Hey don't worry about it. I mean like I said if I don't get criticism then I will never learn.

Re: Lyrra's Tags.
Yeah, the last bg would blend nicely with a render that had more similar colors. Before you start with the rest of the sig, you could smudge the render just copy the layer and put it under the main render. Make sure it's on something like linear light.
Have you thought of adding a light source anywhere in your sigs?

I don't know what you mean can you show me an example?

The light source can go where ever you want it to go, but putting it by the focal point or some other good action point is good. See, it's right by her head in there. The light is made by brushing with the history brush (100-200 pixels) and then setting it to linear dodge or other setting like that.
Another good way to draw the eye in is to have some little light effects here and there. In your sig I put in a red from the sig, a lime green and some kind of bright orange. They can be put anywhere and usually look nice. Having random huge dots of the light off to the far corner is not something I recommend. (37-65 pixel brushing set on soft light or linear light, whatever option you want really)
And to give it some more depth I used a high pass filter (filter>other>high pass, leave it at ten and put it on soft light). I have no clue what it does, but it adds some depth.

Re: Lyrra's Tags.
Meh they're alright to look at for help.
But trying new things is good for you too.
Gets you in a creative point of view of things.
I won't say I don't use them....because I do.
But here and there I tend to mix it up of my own.
