Neh, tuts are good for learning new things, but you gotta devote some time to just tinkering with Photoshop.

Thats how i developed this style tinkering around and taking tips and hints from my freind

Then again, using tuts teaches you a bunch of stuff you never knew faster, the only thing you have to do perfect what you've learned.. and remember it.

right right, but some stubborn people like me don't wanna use tutorials and insist on learning how to do something ourselves

But that isn't alwaysthe best way to learn. Sure, you can be proud and say you've learned everything yourself, but with something like Photoshop you'll need some help with some things. The harder tools are good example; other things like good filters to use and adjustment layers to use..

Many of them just give princible and other handy things like color meshing and stuff.

yeah it did take me a while to learn how to use the layers option but i finally got it =D

Can we move this talking to another thread if you are going to talk about tutorials. I'm asking for help with my tags not about tuts.
