Fixation

I want
to peel away
the dead layers
strip you bare
down to the last atom
until I find out why
your voice
never leaves my mind
Thoughts of you
electrify me
and terrify me
call me out
of the stale dream
I've been living in
but draw me into
a beautiful new nightmare
I can't
fight this force
but I will never
give in to this desire
still your life
screams and cries
and sings its song
to me
I want what
I need and
crave what
I fear and I have
to have you

This poem gave me chills down my spine as I read it. It's amazing, gren. Your writing never ceases to amaze me. It was lovely.
