Apologies to those who have submitted entries recently but unfortunately, we will no longer be doing Poem of the Week. It seemed as though the interest in this contest was too sporadic; for instance, the first week of POTW had 12 entries, whereas the next two weeks had only 3 and 2...some weeks there was only one entry or none at all. Add to that the difficulty for the judges to get together on the same day every week to judge the poems (due to work, computer issues, etc.), and the whole thing just sort of fizzled out.

But don't worry...staff is working to revamp this into a Poem of the Month contest, which would allow for more entries and easier judging. Keep an eye out for it!
