you can turn off the recieve email function you know. As for the rest of the stats, I seen the same thing. Especially the mammoth, thing had more str then I did at one time yet it did less damage, lol.

I'm glad you like that Yeti. It can't be that bad a monster since you survived up to level 22... Which reminds me, I need to move the Yeti's bigger brother into play...
The monsters definately need a tweaking, I was unsure how to build the stats where they wouldn't be too strong, it is a tough balancing act. It helps getting people's feedback, though. Especially those who have gotten past level 20.
I've also noticed that with monsters that have over 100 def it's hard to actually damage them. For instance my pet will hit one of those yetis for 0 points a lot of times. I haven't tried the greater yeti yet because I had so much trouble just on the lvl 15 yeti. I noticed the greater had 250 def/str...I'm really wondering if I'll be able to hit it at all. Another thing I've noticed it that the higher dex/eva the monsters have the higher dex you need to actually be able to hit them. With the greater yeti having so high of these 2 stats, We might be a bit outclassed. I'll go check it out and let you know if I get my ass handed to me.- Well I see you did a bit o revising on the big brother, I can hit him but his heal is overpowered. his first cast is the heal and it does 80+ healing a turn so it pretty much nullifies my attacks lol. I believe it lasts for 5-6 turns so I figure about a 45-50 minute battle and he'll run out of mana haha. The tower is definitly a group spot. I will officially rename my mammoth to Poser because though his stats scream "I will stomp you" he's as gentle as a kitten lol.

I need to check if I made that 'Ice Ball' spell available for sale, as it knocks down both speed and defense, and does at very good job at it at higher levels... Another tactic you can try is to gang up on the beasties and form battle parties of multiple players to go hunting...
Edit: both the 'Ice Ball' and 'Magic Shield' are available, you just need to find the right shop that sells them..
I believe I saw ice ball for sale at a town, I dunno about magic shield, I'll see how they do against the higher lvl monsters here soon.
Good lord, I battled a lesser yeti, greater yeti and an orc. Took me about 45 mins total. The "ice ball" spell is having a (-0 def -0 spd) effect on everything I cast it on, including the lvl 15 yeti. The healing spell and/or mana compacity of the greater yeti is really high. He can keep 3 people up for quite a long time until he runs out of mana. I noticed that he hits real hard as well, with his duel swords. He can take my pet that has 100 def out with 1 turn, thats over 250 HP. The gold for killing those 3 was far less then the gold out of the cave down south and those creatures are 7-8 levels lower. If the tower is for lvl 20+ why is the lvl 15 yeti even there? Also if hermit's rest will be the intermediate area between the lower places and the tower the greater yeti is a bit overkill for that area. At lvl 22, with a 21 pet I have a hard time just killing there so I can imagine a lvl 15 with no where else to fight. I noticed the orc is lvl 24, could he be moved to the tower in the place of the lesser yeti? Just some stuff I saw and thought might help. I also noticed that my pet can't learn "Ice ball" or "Nova" y? I use my pet as a heal/spell bot since I have found no better way so far of killing these higher lvl creatures.
"Ice ball" and "Magic shield" are available at the Hermit's rest shops.
I gotta say from what I've played so far this looks absolutely great......I haven't noticed any errors so far, it's been pretty smooth. I did have the same thing happening though where the attack menu kept popping up and down, which kind of messed up the background parameters....but that's been about it.
Really glad to hear many are enjoying this new feature at AO. Sure beats the pants of the old system.
Thanks again to Trunks and LenMiyata who are putting a lot of effort into developing the game. They are truly doing an amazing job.
