Thread: Input from the members

i didn't notice this thread here, so i kinda posted it in the active player list.

I i have trouble at the western minlo fields. if i every get into a fight there i know im dead meat. im only level 10 may be that's it. but i gotten farther than that place and i survive past that at the olokas cave where i do all my training. i keep running into that guy with the 225 stats, the lesser doubleganger i think. i think daratris town needs an inn. and i think we need to be able to sell equipment and pets. also, we need to be able to hold more potions. other than that, good job on the rpg so far trunks,esipically since your doing this by yourself.

Just started playing it today, and I have to agree with Kaki Tori Kaizoku that Daratris Town.

Something that I find really annoying though is that I can't "fast travel" from town to town, but have to go through a group of areas to get to them...at some other forums that have this version of RPG Inferno, You can access any place you can see on the World Map, which is nice... >.>

I think I'm coming along pretty nicely though overall. Trying to save up for that Icebrand sword, good that I can subtract used attribute points, so I don't have to worry so much about doing something I'll always regret. :P

I'm doing this RPG a little differently than other fast travel versions. I'm making it this way in the hopes that it will be more realistic in that you can't instantly teleport from point A to point B, you would actually have to walk (or use a travel service). This adds a bit more challenge to the game and also keeps the game from being too short (since right now there is only so many places to travel to). I'll work on the suggestions posted in this thread. As for selling items, that is currently not available in the version of RPG Inferno installed on AO. I am not able to actually update it since DB was in charge of that and he isn't around anymore.

Okay, so travelling around on the World Map will be like in Final Fantasy Tactics (travelling from the mining city of Gollund to the clockwork city of Goug is such a pain. <_<)...I guess I'll just have to live with it, at least there is indeed not too many areas to travel through to get from town to town (or city. :P).

I think there should be some spells to boost some of the other stats too, like Strength (STR), and Speed (SPD).

Added a few new spells like that, you can find them at Daratris and a couple other magic stores. Currently the ones I added will boost the stat by 10 for 2 turns, each time you level it up it will last 1 extra turn and buff the stat by an additional 5 for a max level of 10. Requires arcane skill level of 10 to use.

Cool, I've got to go check it out and see how much they cost now. But I'll have to save up a fortune in Gil for a nice weapon, and the Ultima spell. :P And that pet...which I must point out, the image doesn't appear for that Pet called Cloud...

But when I checked the url of that image that was represented by a white outlined box with a red x in it, it said Leviathan, so it is Leviathan with a name change? >.>

Oh, and may I suggest uping the spell limit to 10? Or at least higher than 5, I think there is about a dozen or so spells now, players could have to where they can't equip half of their spells at this point.

blue wolf and i are having difficulties inviting each other to be members of a team. we send invites but the other one does not receive the invite.
