![]() | Re: Input from the members Okay, I'm going to help myself to making some suggestions. First of all, about at the top of the Tower of Death...I am sure everyone will agree that the following stats would be way too high for an enemy: HP: 35000 MP: 15000 STR: 800 DEF: 800 MAG: 800 DEX: 800 EVA: 800 SPD 800 MAG DEF: 800. Let's throw in a Level 5 Ultima spell too, just for good measures so "no one will ever be able to have a single weapon with a fifth of the power of Trunks'." *hears evil laughs coming out of Trunks* Put all that into one enemy, and even a little bit more (the absolutely broken Level 5 Improved Ice Ball spell. -_-), and what do you get? The boss at the top of the Tower of Death... I know; "Surely I must be joking." but I am not, Trunks has gotten a little (a lot more than a little. >_>) carried away with his creations for players to...well, sometimes just scan, and not fight, because no one would be foolish enough to face this enemy. Since this enemy is painfully obviously overpowered an earth-shakingly huge amount, I suggest either a severe decrease of stats, or make available some set of equipment far superior to even the Cloud equipment (fat chance of that happening... :/). On to other suggestions. I suggest a healing spell that doesn't continually heal a small amount of HP turn by turn, over the course of several turns, but that heals a large amount on the turn it is cast. Heavenly Winds Max Level: 1 (yes, a healing spell that doesn't level up. You could change that if you want to though, but it is a spell with the theme of the number 7, keep that in mind (don't turn it into 6's if you add it, please? <.<)). Description: Heals HP by 777. MP Cost: 77. Spell Miss Chance: 7% (since it heals so much HP, a small risk is made of it resulting in a miss. This spell is intended for emergency uses, for when you're just about out of HP, and have no potions, or want to save them). Now, something else about the RPG seems amiss, there are no draining spells, like the Drain (absorbs HP) and Osmose (absorbs MP) spells from Final Fantasy games.

As for the boss, i'll work on tweaking it, but balancing monsters around assumed stats that someone would have at that level is very difficult. The only reason I was able to do it for the lower monsters was because you were at that level making it possible to gauge the stats that were required to provide a reasonable challenge.

![]() | Re: Input from the members Well for Drain you could have it deal damage to the targeted foe, while restoring some HP to the caster, couldn't you? Same with MP. Spellcasters like me have a serious MP shortage for those battles against monsters with several thousand HP, it'd be handy to have an MP restoring spell in some form, whether it is just like a curing spell for MP, or if it takes some away from a foe at the same time. Although I realize that a spell like Drain could have it's numbers a bit off, say like taking away 12 MP from the foe, while restoring the caster's by 107 MP. :P Edit: Scanned him again, and you are gonna have to do a lot more than just take away it's Improved Ice Ball spell. Seriously.

It is impossible because you can only set spells to effect one stat, period. So either it will drain HP from the enemy, or give you hp, there is no place or way to set both at the same time. As for the IIB spell, it was removed because it is basically the same as the def. decrease spells I already had in the game.

![]() | Re: Input from the members That's strange, because there was a spell in this same version of RPG Inferno at some other forums, that had a spell that damaged the target's HP, while restoring some of your own HP, not sure why it isn't possible in this one, but w/e, alright I guess. :P

![]() | Re: Input from the members I've known about that for a while, from my visits to those other forums that have this version of RPG Inferno, so okay, it's not a big deal. :P I know that "Cloud" pet has pretty good stats, but for the monsters I am facing near the top of the Tower of Death the Pet is completely useless (For example, the Perfect Trunks Clone (and you know someone is hard up for monsters to add to an RPG when they keep adding a bunch of clones and shadows of himself. XD))... Maybe a Pet that could help beat that Trunks [BOSS]. :O There'll have to be some solution, I know that much, impossible is anything but fair, right or good. >.>
