    Artist in training

    Hi

    Can anyone help me?
    I am an inspiring artist in the field of anime,
    but I cannot get the hang of drawing the bodies
    of my characters.
    If any one can help, I will be eternaly grateful.

    why don't you start with the basics shape out the character first then fleish em out and then cloth with your own design

    yes anime is just besic shapes
    crcals squers ect ( yes i cant spell i know) and be thes way is to do the jonts but do a stick body frist and then add the flesh kk ^^ try that it helped me ^^

    hey have you heard of the book called the complete idiots guid to Manga Illistrated? it has helped me alot. oh and please dont think I am trying to call you an idiot because I am not.

    You could also go to any book stores nearby where you live and look for a book called "How To Draw Manga" they have a series of the books that teach you how to draw the body in which you need help on and also other sections you might lack.

    It takes lots of practice...practice that I seem to be lacking. I also have trouble with the bodies but maybe that's just because I have no patience. I guess I'll make use of some of these tips as well.

    And shapes? That sounds so simple it might work O__o

    i could help 'cause ive been drawing anime for four years and im really good at itso yeh u need a stick figure to start with then u add the different shapes to make the basic body structure and i should know 'cause i taught myself
