Brushes?

yes i was wondering where evryone seems to be getting sweet 'brushes' and all, i dont even understand how to use them..... i need help badd

first thing do you use gimp ??? and i thought u new how to use ur brushes since u made a sig ?

ROFL..... yea i made sig but like its completly brushless lol and yea i use GIMP.

Also check out devianart, they have some awesome brushes

Do you know how to put new brushes into use? Let's assume you don't.
Go to My computer
Got to Folder - Program files [is you don't have it, it's fine] or else go to Gimp 2.0
Go toFolder - Share
Go to Folder - gimp
Go to Folder - 2.0
Go to Folder - Brushes

Then copy and paste new brushes.
Start GIMP again and open the brushes dialogue. Maximise it so you could see properly. Then go wild with using them ^_^ It takes time and practice.
For colours, go to Tools->Colour Tools->Colourize or Colour Balance.

Well just do as Rave said and ull be all set he helped me out with mine when i started and im doing fine now.Even tho i still suck XD ahh i hate suxing at things.
