so yeah i recently downloaded GIMP. since i heard ppl used it to make sum really beautiful wallpapers here at Anime Online. and so. i start it up and when i do. i see all these weird stuff and words that i dont understand. i try experimenting around with GIMP and sum pictures i downloaded. but i still dont know how to make the pictures so beautiful like on this website. plz help a 15 year old totally lost teen :P
wow...that seems really hard. and I'm sorry that you got lost with this GIMP thing that you are talking about. I'm not sure what it is, or even how to use it...all i know is Paint shop pro. Im sorry i really cant help......but if I find someone that can I'll send them your way.
paintshop looks nice and very user friendly but. i dont have the money :(

Seriously, gimptalk.com is probably the #1 place to get info and tutorials on GIMP. There's a lot you can learn from there.
If not then there are many other sites that offet good advice. I dont have any specific one in mind but just try google and search for something.
As for other stuff for GIMP I say that dafont.com is the best place get fonts to use for GIMP and devianArt has a VERY NICE selection of brushes.
FYI: If you install too much fonts and brushes it'll seriously kill the start up time for GIMP, especially if you have a cheap PC (like me. XP) I've got over 1000 brushes and fonts EACH so it takes a few minutes for my GIMP to start...
