did you view the system requirements on the box? usually with the trial you don't get all the features... so that might be why...

Yes, I made sure it was compatible with my computer before i attempted to download it.

idk then i got photoshop 5 on mine n it worked justright for me even tho it is refgestered to like 5 people
try putting it on someone else's computer

If he's running 10.5.4, I'm pretty sure he can run the program. Apple is pretty stringent when it comes to the system requirements for their OS.

Now, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and attempting to register it again?

or have you tried calling Adobe and attempted to speak with a human being rather then a machine?
