Need help with Animated Avi
ok so i have made an animated Avi but i got one big problem. that is when ever i upload it to a site it never runs as an animated gif.
i know that the gif works properly. i open it up on both IE and Fire fox and it runs perfectly.
but the problem is uploading it to a site. so far i've tried uploading it to AO and photobucket. but both times i just get a still image.
so yea any advice is appreciated.

The photobucket GIF displays animated on my computer. The version in your avatar does not.

okay thx. that just means its either my browser or my internet connection (must be the connection)..
well if thats the case and my gif is working perfectly then i don't think i need this thread anymore.

Well for me your avatar under your name is indeed animated so maybe that'll help? Cuz I see the bg in the avatar moving.

Strange...now both of them are animated as well on my computer. Could be the server response. Animated GIFs progressively display as they download, so depending on the file size and server speed, it is possible that your GIF was just stuck on the first frame. That's a longshot though, as your GIF is less than 16k.
Actually, I bet you just used the Photobucket hotlink.

well orginally the first avi under my name was just a still version..
i changed it after ur first post..
but yea i guess other ppl can see it being animated cause i still can't... must really be my internet connection..
anywho thx every1 for the help... sigh and i really wanted to see it animated on this site as well.. guess i must get better broadband..
