Pick a big soft brush as your eraser and smoothly erased the edges, CRTL + Z if you mess up. Get all your images and do the same until you get your desired effect. This is very basic so even a beginner can try and have fun.

In the wallpaper below they used this "fade"effect around the frames of every Bakura and combined them . I wanna do that using photoshop .Like how do you cut the image with such a smooth outline and merge it into another , without making it obvious or with a jagged outline .I tried it with paint and boy that was so not a good idea .So ..?
P.S. i have zero photoshop skills, so please water it down for me .Thanks

You also might want to try the Quick Mask tool in conjunction with the soft brush (but not too soft). Google the function for more info.
It allows you paint on a selection that you can later use to cut out what you want, that way you don't do anything to the original image until you are ready to do so.
