RIP Scanner

It's been a good run... but my scanner is officially done for. Looking at the latest scans, you'll see -- not only two lines that scan lighter than the others, but that the entire image is now "Striped" >_< I think I need a new scanner but can't afford one at the moment. So until then... no more scans (aww).

T_T i'm sorry! are you going to bury him?

in sixth grade, i buried my white out pen when it had any more ink! there was a metal rod in it that made the clicky sounds! it was wrapped in tissue paper and i wrote gibberish symbols on it and buried him near the office! though i un-buried him a couple weeks later... anyways...

Oh, I know how you feel... Scanner died on me too, once. A shame... You were my favorite gallery contributor, too... Any way we could help out?

I have an extra scanner that I'm not using. Its an old one, but it takes really good scans (Volume 14 - Anime Paper - Anime and Manga wallpapers and scans! (ã‚¢ãƒ‹ãƒ¡))

If I can manage to cut $100 out of my spending next month I can just buy one for a few bucks more than it would cost to ship.

Though if you have a scanner that takes perfectly good scans -- you should be scanning shit with it! If you haven't got anything, I can send you some :P

Well that sucks....but it is the way of life...at least you got good use out of it. This plus your other thread calling me names

has however made me decide to bring my scanner out of retirement. Will start uploading images over the next few weeks (will start with about 10 tonight unless I decide to re-cg them).

*22 out of 78 scans uploaded in the gallery. The remaining 56 scans are being edited for crappy resolution and touch-ups.
