I use paint for alot of simple things, but for the more....intricate things...I use photoshop.
For making sigs and stuff it's just easier.

I'm definately a big fan of GIMP. I tried using Photoshop once, but I found it too complicated in comparison to GIMP. While its simplistic nature most likely makes it less powerful, I find it's wonderful for someone like me who just likes to experiment with random effects and the like.
I use a lot of programes including photoshop, Coreldraw & MSpaint
But I recomend U 2 try Photo-Brush for final touches & editing.
It has alot of good gadgets such as flare & sparkle.

I'm pretty familiar with Graphic Design... it's my passion afterall XD.
I work with all kinds of Adobe programs. I've been working with Adobe Photoshop for over 6 years now and since 2 years I've been working with Adobe Illustrator. Since CS3 is the newest version of these magnificant designing programs, it's been a pleasure to work with it. I master both designing progs and I can probably make anything I want with it. Combining the two designing progs makes beautiful graphics. I'm trying to learn how to use Adobe Flash atm. Since Flash is added to the Adobe pack, you can now import illustrator files into flash, it's ideal... but heck, I'm a wreck when it comes to Actionscript. XD, love the programs, can't be without.
Ah, I remember when I was young a naive, I used photoshop and thought it was the best thing in the world...then kuwirules145 told me about GIMP, I downloaded it, and take my word for it, it's so much better! I love GIMP because it has so many features to it, you can do almost anything with pictures, and it's fun to experiment with all the tools! I'd deffinatly have to pick GIMP over all the rest!
Photoshop is my choice program when it comes go Media graphics im sorry but its the best
