I have my own domain now and I'm trying to build a website. I'm currently using WordPress and I had a few issues with the permissions as far as uploads are concerned (which I think I fixed). I'm considering trying a different kind of site format. Maybe a forum. I like WordPress but, I want to do something a bit different, I think. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have some experience setting up wordpress websites, as well as customizing themes, setting up galleries and spam control, if you need some help, I'd be happy to help.

with my site, I've written my own Skin theme and then made a similar skin for the wordpress addon that the webserver had. Otherwise, its all my own PHP and HTML design but the gallery is a free script I found..

That way, if anything goes wrong, you can support ticket it with your host.
I may have to support ticket it then. It's a free webhosting site and they never gave me an option to install Wordpress.Quote:
