i really don't like the new Gundam series,.i mean basically Seed, 00, etc.
maybe becuase i love the classics, 0083, G, and Mobile Suit, but every time i say this everyone just looks at me like, 'what...?'

Now what is there to not like about the recent Gundam series??? You can't complain about the quality of the stories. (as an example the first third of 'Gundam Seed' was essentially the retelling of the first half of the original 'Mobile Suit Gundam'...) Or are you complaining that the stories aren't original enough...

i'm not crazy about the CGI in the newer Gundamn, and the design as much. i think the older ones look more proportional. the plots aren't the issue for me, they're great.
itachigirl, we grew up on old gundan, but dont' damn the newer ones..

may it's because these new ones isn't much of a original. when i saw 00, i can already see it a bit of u.c. and wing. at least it's an original compared to copy-paste-edit seed.

Why do they heck if you don't like the newer ones like seed, destiny, stargazer, and 00 thats fine. We all got our likes dislikes which make us human. Me I love the newer Gundams series they are awsome.

anyway, it's all a metter of taste. i didnt like 0083 at all, others loved it. and it is bound to happen, the plots are going to get a bit re-used. at least in 00 they kind of mixed things up between a bit of wing and UC, along with some OC.

I completely understand where you're coming from itachigirl. I really didn't like the Seed series at all. Sure there where a couple of cool suits but that's it. It seemed like way to much of a love story than a gundam story. As for 00, it's ok. I don't really watch it, my good friend ochigate just gives me the updates on what new is happening. I think one of the main problems I have with the newer stuff is the animation style. I don't know if it's just nostalgia for the old series that keep me from liking the new stuff or what but I'll just have to live with it.
