hey did anyone notice, like the only thing a ball ever destroyed in the original gundam anime was a mass production gundam? [after it was kicked by a zaku, it flew into the gundam]

thats funny, but it was shown that balls can be usefull, as Shiro destroyed a Zaku in "the 08th MS team". so is the ball just a waste of resorces, or was it a smart move by the earth forces to make so many? this could go either way, but i think at the very least they distracted the Zeon MS to better "feddies" could get in a shot.....

They were a "mass-produced mobile pod" created by the Federation to provide fire support for the Federation's "GM" moblie suit. They were cheap vehicles that were armed with a "recoilless cannon," although some; like the one Shiro Amada flew; were armed with two.

But to answer the ques., even the Federation themselves refered to the ball as a "coffin." That it was tentamount ta suicide for a ball ta take on a MS, that's what made Shiro's feat so spectacular.

hassun was about to slap a penalty on me, i just know it.....

but the Ball just owns so hard in so many games, lik Battleassault 2. i could beat anyone in that game with a ball

but i looked on wikipedia and, just as i thought, the ball has the best acceleration and good manerverability., even better than Zakus.

Maybe so it would b easier for the MS's ta score a goal when they're playin' soccer.lol. If it accelerates fast and has great manuverability, it'd b harder for the goalie ta stop it.

you should see "gundam evolve" nuber 11 i belive it is, its on youtube. its the story of a group of balls going into the ruins of solomon, i belive. that would be some scary stuff, but if you watch it there are some funny things, like the ball in the front gets hit, bounces off walls and other balls destroying all but two of them.

sad but funny...

He's not necessarily a what, but a who. He was a civilian who wound up pilotin' the Gundam mobile suit that his dad help ta build. I'm pretty sure u could catch the series on youtube or somethin'. But remember that the series was made in the 1970's so the animation will not b up ta present-day standards. Although it was very good for the time period.

@ Rematche- Amuro was a newtype, so u could probably give him a steam roller and he'd make it bad@$$.

but yes, indeed amuro would be a force to be reckoned with in a Ball. or they should make a red one with an antenna, then it will be three times as fast
