Yeah, I'm getting the same. And yes, I'm still watching this conversation.

Wasn't it Turn A Gundam that had some fancy power system, allowing it to be completely hollow? I remember some Gundam had that system, which did seem a bit weird to me. Then again, it is Anime... LOL

the moonlight butterfly system of turn a? it releases nano machines that eats destroys all non-organic matter. or is it the v gundam's flying fortress called the angel halo, that can totally control minds and also whipe it out clean? to me the coolest system is the blue destiny's exam system. it literally turns it into berzerk mode like eva and also it's eyes turns red.

...this is where amuro ray is during his absence in z gundam. he actually destroyed more than 15 computerized mobile suits in seconds using his beam saber in his very own customized z gundam.

did ya also know that char was cloned after the v gundam timeline...so that means he was resurrected more than a hundred years later.

That link worked. Is all the Gundam Anime like that? Damn, I want more! I've seen those in model form before, but I thought they were a custom unit. Might have to pick 1 up, if I can arrange the money. Maybe even take a pic & post it on here.

some are like that but mostly animated purely in 2d.

yes, i did know this... char was the most popular caracter from gundam so i guess ppl wanted more of him, so they tried to deliver...

I thought the Turn A Gundam anime was great, from start to finish. I know a lot of people rag on Syd Mead's mech designs for the series, but I liked them - especially the moustached Turn A (but my favorite was definitely the Turn X). Even if you don't think they look that great initially, at least wait until you see them in action. I liked the Turn A from the beginning, but I know a couple people who initially hated the design but later admitted that it grew on them as the series progressed.

Music-wise, Turn A also excels (thanks to Yoko Kanno, of course). It also has a likable main character (I usually don't care much for the main characters in the majority of Gundam series, but Turn A is one of the exceptions). I guess one could say the series is fairly slow-paced, but I found the pacing to be similar to most other TV series Gundams.

In conclusion, Turn A Gundam is my favorite of the "Tomino Gundams" (yes, I like it better than even Zeta).

As for Gundam 00, I'll probably watch it eventually. With character names like "Lockon Stratos" and "Allelujah Paptism" I'll just about have to. I'm more interested in the upcoming Armored Trooper VOTOMS OVAs, though.

yup...and it's even a twice as powerful a nu.
and also check-out char's nightingale...

...it's bigger and very powerful compared to sazabi.
