true but the seed's version of newtype (even though that term doesn't nor used exists in the seed universe) is totally diffrent from the uc version. for example:

Characters were said to have high spacial awareness ability that can control multiple units, including barrels and DRAGOONs. Both Coordinators (genetically engineered/enhanced humans) and Naturals (humans unmodified genetically) have been noted to possess spacial awareness abilities making the trait not distinguished by one group. Although the term is not used in cosmic era official stories and settings, the company Banpresto (another sub-company of Bandai) labeled CE pilots having spacial awareness ability as Newtypes in the SD Gundam G Generation series video games and the card game Gundam Wars due to user friendliness instead of naming them differently. However, this ability does not have the long distance psychic like ability to communicate with remote units and needed quantum communication devices to control unwired dragoon units unlike Newtypes which can directly send out signals without the help of a computer.

this is why i really don't raelly like seed but in the game i consider them.

in all honestly, ive come to respect Gundam SEED as a retelling of the original Gundam story for new fans. so many themes carry over....

not really retelling just creating mirror of the original gundam which i really don't like because it insulted tomino's hard work but i would like it if the anime just followed the original story in the novel. like kira is supposed to be dead, athrun has one arm and flay is used as a human bomb.

Al (De?) La Flaga was the name of Mu's dad, yup the name sucks. Don' ask me how they came up wit that one. And I was only referin' ta the characters in SEED that have spatial awareness as "Newtypes" 'cause that was the terminology, that the creator of the series, was usin' in his interview. Don' ask me why, I don' understand it myself. I, personally, wish that the SEED series was a stand alone story and would perfer that it didn' mirror the original Gundam series at all. In my opinion, I don' think it at all resembles the original series.

wait a minute! mu didn't died. have seen gundam seed destiny yet? he actually survived in seed and has a amnesia.
