And I'll agree, the version with the shoulder pads does look better.

no it was the gundam mk2...the crossbone is different, the pilot is seabook arno. the gap between z the gundam and the crossbone gundam is around 50 to 60 years. kamille develop a temper because of his name.

    Oh, OK. My bad.

So does that make the Z more advanced, or the Crossbone?

Either way, where can I get one...

that's ok...the crossbone is advance compared to z. but if you compared to powers, z is superior because of the biocomputer. btw, here's them in action thanks to super robot wars alpha 2.

Nice clips. Was it just me or did Z Gundam have more attacks?

I wonder what would happen if you put that biocomputer thing in the Crossbones Gundam...

whooopsss i made a mistake...the z gundam has the biosensor not the biocomputer, the biocomputer is for the crossbone gundam. it analyzed the data observed from the sensors, and then fed it directly to the pilot's brain. This allows oldtype pilots the capacity to rival newtypes' performance, but usually only a newtype would bring out the system's full potential. there are only 3 biocomputers that exists. the biosensor allows a newtype's power to transfer to the machine.

So the Biocomputer scans the data then feeds it directly to your brain, while the Biosensor allows the newtypes to do their fancy tricks (mind mincing, sense incoming attacks, anything else?) through the machine? Sounds like a nasty combo to me, whatever machine you put them both in!

Scary thing is, I think I may have thought up something similar with my Gundam story I've thought up, despite never knowing that. Mind you, my ideas use a different method, direct neural connections (biocomputer equivalent, think EVA using Matrix style connections) & special conducting metals (biosensor equivalent). Do they use anything like that?

Hell with it, I'll take almost any Gundam, as long as it has both those systems in it...

    Oh yeah, feel the power...

only to an oldtype (human) but if you're a newtype, the biocomputer can function like the biosensor and also scans the data then feeds it directly to your brain. lastly it doubles the evolutionary leap of a newtype. it's so powerful, dangerous, and almost impossible to replicate that only 3 were made and installed to 3 kinds of crossbone gundams, the x1,x2, and x3.

yes...most newtype based technology are direct neural connections.

Damn, my original-because-I've-never-seen-any-of-the-series story & ideas are starting to become less & less original. At least I'm getting more details to throw into it...

Might even have to write some of it up soon...
