In the later part of G Seed Cagalli was partnered with Athrun and up to the sequel GS Destiny Cagalli was still partnered with Athrun(Not mentioning Meer)
In GS Destiny Mere was partnered with Athrun but after Mere died Athrun is with Cagalli..
