Same wit the Vertigo and END as well, but I was thinkin' that the END shouldn' have beam sabers. Instead it'll start out wit heat claws (a la Wolverine) and when it gets upgraded it'll have beam claws. Whaddya think? Is it a good idea? ![]()

If I was truly designing it, I'd most likely pack in as much bang for my buck. A few weapons here, a few there. Having a beam saber or 2 handy if needed could be the difference between life & death... Actually, another idea that might not fit in, since you appear to be going for a more historical look, but on 1 or 2 of the Gundam models I've converted, I've included shotguns in the knee guards. That way, they can send out a signal to prep it, slam the knee into the opponent, & boom, metal shrapnel gets launched into their framework from point blank range. The dead shell gets ejected out the knee, & it's ready to rock again. The Mechs I've put that on are mainly close up fighters, with close combat a common occurrence, so when I remembered that's what you guys were looking for...

![]() ![]() Credits: 27,919 | Re: your own gundam story I finished the main weapon of the Berserk Gundam and thought of a weapon for the Vertigo. Ochi, I tried ta make the Berserk's main weapon look like the Heat Hawk as much as possible w/o sacrificin' makin' look unique. And the weapon I thought of is called the "Beam Sai", I figured ta do somethin' different besides usin' beam sabers all of the time. The Beam Sai design allows for it ta "disarm" those who have beam melee weapons, such as beam sabers. So w/o further ado, I introduce the "Beam Hawk" and the "Beam Sai": ![]()

![]() Credits: 74,669 | Re: your own gundam story i like the beam hawk, it looks just enough like the heat hawk, but not too much. sais are indeed different, but not one of my preferred weapons. but using it would be a good idea, against that beam hawk. but i dont think it sould be used in place of the beam saber, but should still have it.

![]() ![]() Credits: 27,919 | Re: your own gundam story No drawings today, I'm still fleshin' them out. Plz forgive me, it jus' that this is the first time that I've drawn mecha and I'm jus' not used ta it. But I am almost done wit the END 'fore it becomes a Gundam. I also came up wit some names for the characters of the story and also here's a little entry of the story. Miyuki Kurasawa- Petty Thief who robs Kenneth Timbers and then attempts to save his life. Jaime Churchill- Chosen to pilot the Berserk Gundam 'cause of her unusually high piloting skills. Jule Timbers- Kenneth's uncle and avid historian. Also a veteran of the Argon Wars. Kenneth Timbers- Protagonist of the story. A man with a mysterious past, only seems to want to take care of his uncle. The Shadowed Thunder- Ace pilot of the END. Like Kenneth, his past is a complete mystery and no one, that is known, has seen the face behind his mask. All that is known is that he has unnatural skill as a pilot. His subordinates often refer to him as "Commander Shadow." Picking up where we last left off... Kenneth darts for the park bench where he laid down the pilot of the Berserk, when he gets tackled from behind and sent crashing to the ground. As he gets up, prepared for a fight, he noticed some holes on the ground where he was. "Gunshots!" He thought. He looked over to where the figure that tackled him was lying and ran over to it. "A Girl!" A surprised Kenneth found himself saying aloud before he realised it. "Yeah, what of it?!" The woman replied, shaking her fist at Kenneth. "Here let me help you up." Kenneth said as he extended his hand to assist her. The girl slapped his hand away and said, "I don't need your help, I can take care of myself." "I see. Well, thanks for saving me back there." The girl's bewildered look was telling. "When you tackled me..." Kenneth said as he pointed to the bullet holes in the ground where he was standing. "Oh, that..." The young woman said as she looked away, "It's, umm, nothing." "Are you blushing?" Kenneth inquired. "Hey, weren't you running towards that park?!" The woman snapped. Kenneth's eyes flew wide and he threw his hands up defensively. He then said, "Yeah, yeah! Hey it's ok! You're right, I have got to head to that park. There's an injured person there." They both began running towards the park and the girl said, "My name's Miyuki, Miyuki Kurasawa." "Hey, Miyuki. Mine's Kenneth Timbers. Sorry for the short plesantries." "It's ok, let's go help that person!" Miyuki said as they began to run faster. Meanwhile... "I've located the experimental mobile suit, Langley." Said the masked pilot of the black mobile suit, "Lock on to my coordinates and send a recovery team right away." "Yes, sir, Commander Shadow!" Exclaimed Langley from the image off the side monitor of Shadow cockpit, "How's the END doing? Is it operating to your specifications?" "Just a minor problem, but the OS has a 10 second lag in it's response time. But I'm sure that you can fix that problem after this mission is over." Shadow replied. "Yes, sir. The recovery team is on their way. They will be there in 5 minutes." "Good. Shadowed Thunder out." Shadow said as the transmission with Langley ended, a new image of two figures charging in the direction of the park appeared. Shadow then zoomed the image upon the man running with the woman. "Hmm... Why does that man seem so familar?" He pondered. "There she is!" Exclaimed Kenneth as they arrived at the park. "She?!" A bewildered Miyuki blurted out. Kenneth, as if he didn't hear what Miyuki said, ran to the injured woman lying on the bench. "Miyuki, can you help me? We can't leave her here, while a battle is going on!" "Sure!" Miyuki said as she ran over to assist Kenneth. The woman aroused as they gingerly lifted her to her feet and put each of her arms over their shoulders. She looked at the both of them and weakly asked, "Who... who are you?" "Just two people trying to help you out ma'am." Explained Kenneth. Then 4 mobile suits arrived carrying what looked like a metal gurney, they laid it down beside the Berserk and began to load the Gundam onto it. "No! We mustn't let them take the Berserk!" The woman proclaimed. As she tried to pull away from her support to move toward the scene, she stopped and cluched at the wound on her side. "Look, lady, you're in no condition to be trying to stop them!" Exclaimed Miyuki as she grabbed the woman to steady her and keep her from falling. "Miyuki's right. You're in no condition for that." Said Kenneth. "But you don't understand. That is a government secret that I have been entrusted with. We can't let them have it!" She proclaimed. "Lady, I don't know about what you thinking, but I don't see how two civilians and an injured solder are going to stop them." Replied Miyuki. To be continued... Whaddya guys think? I'll try and have those drawings done soon, hopefully. I'll also be working on the story a little bit more. I'll get back with u guys. ![]()
