Wow... I'm impressed! A total of 8 wallpaper submissions and WOTF still is only new. And the quality of walls submitted is top class too. :worship:

Theme was Life's Little Wonders with the original idea by The White Wolf in the SOTW themes thread.

_gwenibe_ and aceman67 were neck and neck and was hard to decide. Both offer that lovely warm feeling inside. In the end I went for aceman67.

My vote definitely goes to gwen, it captured my attention immediately and its just amazing. Awesome work on blending all the scans together to make a perfect picture. It just gives you a relaxed feeling just by looking at it.

Creds to the rest as well for the equally great entries. Especially ace, it was between gwen and you at the end...but gwen's just really got to me. Also creds to GallComp for a very "original" work.

Hope to see more awesome work in the future as well. ^^

I have to say. The effect of not taking up the entire screen caught my eye. So my vote goes to Equinn. _gwenibe_ and Aceman67 where very close and tied at second however.

Abu Dhabi: I love the puppy. It is my third choice.

Out of all the walls, it's the only one I'd actually use on my desktop.

Some of the others stand out artistically/stylistically (Gallcomp, aceman, Lasura) and I appreciate the risks they took (to somewhat successful ends) but the elements just don't really combine to make anything unified or visually arresting. There are quite a few images and backgrounds this time around that just don't look "right" together. It's ~really~ hard to make a photo look like it belongs with an animated character.
