Thread: Death Note banned in some schools!

well, it's true that it makes you think but so does Twilight, Harry Potter, Fushigi Yuugi, Naruto, Inuyasha, etc. I mean there is always going to be something that makes you think. agree?

Yup that is very true. I think it's because Death Note is more "violent" though.

its not that much more violent. Itachi killed his entire family.
Light killed criminals....which is worse? its all violent, but at least death note brings up some moral questions that makes kids think.

That's true. By the way doesn't Naruto have lots of blood scenes? Lol that's something I gotta laugh at.

its understandable why they banned it, but the people who did just are stupid to think that will stop people from using fake Notes to take out their angst. it just keeps such actions hidden till its to late to stop another Columbine. im not saying anyone who uses a fake Note will eventually kill people, im just saying that u can use the Notes to figure out who is bullying others to the point of wanting to kill. but if u hide the Notes, no one can figure out ur feeling that way.

I think that the idea of banning it is stupid. I mean the thing is, the kids who created the deathnotes wouldn't actually kill the ppl on the hit list. it's just for fun. plus, it's a good anime/manga. so there!
