I looked at the voice actors, and I think they REALLY don't wanna screw this up.

They've hired some people with REAL talent. I just hope L's voice gets done right, or else there's gonna be some ink flyin round. (In case some dips**ts don't understand, I mean using the death note.)

From the way it looks it looks like it'll be ok. But so many manga have been ruined by the release of the anime. Its sad but true. But perhaps this will be the exception. I plan to watch and see for myself, because I am so excited about it.

I hope so i like bleach though i am way ahead of the american versions i like it. But ive read the first manga of death note its seems like it will be a good seires. but from what ive read there dosent seem to be much action in it.

it's actually coming over? i'm sorry i'm staying loyal to the subbed version. the voice actors are simply most amazing and i think a dub wouldn't do L and Light justice. I'm glad it's coming over b/c it will widen the audience but I just know the censors will pry hack it to bits just b/c it's about death and all. On Gundam Wing they couldn't even say "kill" they had to say "destroy." Just imagine what they'll do with this one, esp. since the premise of the show is all about killing. Which is why I'm going to stick with the original. True to itself.
