Well, personally I think Death Note is awesome, and the manga's better than the movies. The anime isn't bad either. Brilliant storylines and characters. Definitely one of my favourites.

Death Note gave me a headach, but I love it still. I think you should read it. ^_^ lol.

I think the manga maybe better, so you should read the manga, then watch the anime. I haven't watch the anime, but still.

Anyway why ask? They made a movie after it. Its got to be good~

Trust me exderz, you don't want to know the ending of Death Note before watching/reading the rest. It would seriously ruin the story.
