nope i honestly think death note is one of the best anime series and shinigami are just the protectors of the note book a few are twisted like ryuuk but he is still pretty cool :D::D:

I always thought that Death Note is awesome... It has a deep meaning, that makes people rethink the difference between good and bad.
Oh well, it's not for those small children, who are watching series like those, that help them learn to count, to make difference between some animals, etc. But I believe that it's not bad for older and intellectual kids, that understand the difference between reality and fiction, and can understand the symbolical meaning of the story/characters.
Maybe there are death gods, but they aren't bad or anything like that, just like it was mentioned before by "EmoNightmareRose".
