 |  do u think death note is too demonic ?? days ago, i found a statement/comment that says death note is really too demonic and note good for children..and it says death note is also influencive for people.. do you think its not good for children or even teens to watch it or read its manga ?? few of my old mates like death note.. please use appropriate words for your replies. tnx a lot !!

| Re: do u think death note is too demonic ?? well theres nothing demonic about it. There are god of death, but theres a difference between that and demons. No where in it does it say they are evil. and I think it depends on the kid. If they are smart and can figure out the situation, and respectfully understand it, why not? True, its not for little kiddies, but age 12 and above is fine. I like Death Note because it had everyone questioning their morals, and think it can be a decent test for the average person's depiction of true right and wrong.

| Re: do u think death note is too demonic ?? Oh, I'm sorry about that, I just didn't understand what you posted at first. But in a way I feel probably older kids will like it anyway. Younger ones aren't as keen to read to listen to all the words..

| Re: do u think death note is too demonic ?? I don't think it's demonic... Also I don't understand why was it called demonic... I always thought that Death Note is awesome... It has a deep meaning, that makes people rethink the difference between good and bad. Oh well, it's not for those small children, who are watching series like those, that help them learn to count, to make difference between some animals, etc. But I believe that it's not bad for older and intellectual kids, that understand the difference between reality and fiction, and can understand the symbolical meaning of the story/characters. Maybe there are death gods, but they aren't bad or anything like that, just like it was mentioned before by "EmoNightmareRose".
