Nah, not really, I mean, I watched this via DVDs in the middle of the afternoon, and I was in my normal bored mood.
Then again, I suppose that it helped that I had completed the manga before starting the anime lol.
Anyways, I do plan on re-watching this series eventually.....maybe I'll do it during this week or this upcoming weekend, who knows?

I've lost everything I once held dear to me all i have felt is hope and with it I''ll push myself forward and follow the even ending stream of life.....
I am more into funny and light movies. As we all know, Death Note is dark and strange in many ways, so I really have to be in the mood first before I watch it.
When I first heard of it I thought it might be interesting and cool. I was basically in the mood to check out a new anime so I tuned into Death Note one night and ended up loving it. Now I don't have to be in a mood because I became enticed with the story.

Well, I think it varies from person to person. For instance, I watched most of the series at a certain time each day, to keep a schedule, no matter the mood. It still worked out for me. Sometimes I'd be happy, sometimes pissed off, etc. But I guess in some respect you probably shouldn't be watching it if you're depressed or had a death recently. For obvious reasons.

What is the mood for death note? A dark sinster feeling deep inside yearning for you to watch a master mind kill millions! or maybe a feeling of spured justice and root on a genius as he tries to stop the killer! NO!!!! You don't need anything to get in the MOOD?!?!? all you need is a screen some death note a maybe a little *puff *puff *Cough *Cough to open the mind but its not required!!!! so kick back and relax and enjoy death note my friends!!!
well for me it doesn't matter I would like it just break the cycle of boaring really shows that america tv shows and paid programming. so yes I would watch or listening to for background nosie
