Nah, not really, I mean, I watched this via DVDs in the middle of the afternoon, and I was in my normal bored mood.

Then again, I suppose that it helped that I had completed the manga before starting the anime lol.

Anyways, I do plan on re-watching this series eventually.....maybe I'll do it during this week or this upcoming weekend, who knows?

I am more into funny and light movies. As we all know, Death Note is dark and strange in many ways, so I really have to be in the mood first before I watch it.

Artistic Anarchy

When I first heard of it I thought it might be interesting and cool. I was basically in the mood to check out a new anime so I tuned into Death Note one night and ended up loving it. Now I don't have to be in a mood because I became enticed with the story.

Well, I think it varies from person to person. For instance, I watched most of the series at a certain time each day, to keep a schedule, no matter the mood. It still worked out for me. Sometimes I'd be happy, sometimes pissed off, etc. But I guess in some respect you probably shouldn't be watching it if you're depressed or had a death recently. For obvious reasons.
