Thread: FAVOURITE Death Note character - MUST SAY WHY

would say Light, L and Ryuuku. I think they are all very cool; i can't give a very good reason because i have only watched a few episode of the anime. Light maybe because he is one of the main characters and L because he is such a smart ass. And Ryuuku because he has a unique character and most people can not see him.

Mine is Misa. I love her style and stuff. Also, the fact that she had a crush on Light the moment she saw him was pretty cute. She also has a Death Note which is really cool because in the begining you thought that Light was the only one with the Death Note so it's pretty cool to see that they put a female character in the series that is pretty unique.

L for sure.

Firstly because his name (nick name) starts with the same letter as my name- L. ^^ lol JK! But that's cool, don't you think?

I just admire his mind, his thinking, he's so smart... just... WoW! O.O It's great to view how he figures things out and what he does to do so... Of course it's all the writer's merit- he has thought all those things up, but still it's nice to forget that, isn't it?

Another thing- his weirdnesses seem so damn cool and cute to me and how he explains those is even funny.

Shortly... yea... L is great. I haven't watch Death Note to the end yet, but I alredy know there's no one I could like so much.

Kira/light is my favorite, why, becuz he has the death note, can see a shingami, and he can kill u with only ur name and face.

His intentions--he claims--are good, yet he walks on the dark side to obtain his goal. He's smart, knows his way around the law, and even got the best of L a few times.

Ryuk, on the other hand, has got to be the funniest creature ever. For a Shinigami, he's way more interested in watching humans instead of using thier lives for his own life-span. He goes through these "crack-headish" withdrawls from apples, which always reminds me of my uncle Miles, the way humans interact with eachother teaches him something new every day. And since he's a shinigami, he can see people's names. In the case when they dealt with Raye Penber's wife. Ryuk throws little hints at Light to let him know that she used a fake ID. But he never helps him which is fun to watch.

Yeah I agree with you but I also like L because he's Light's equal and rival and I just like he's character.Well I also like other characters like Misa,Near and Matt but I can't say why without spoiling stuff about the story so ehehe.-^u^-;

Ooh, thats a tough decision... I'm torn between L and Misa
I think Misa's awesome becuase I love her style! Plus, shes proven that you CAN be cute, emo, and blonde all at once (And so do I ^.^; ) Shes also pretty interesting becuase of the way she planned things out as 2nd Kira and how she respects Kira for avenging her parents deaths.
L, on the other hand is cool becuase of his brilliant deductive skills and logic and reasoning. A true genius. I also love how he eats nothing but sweets and puts sugar in everything ^.^ Plus I just think he's kinda of funny... Example "Why do you sit like that?" "Becuase if I sat normally, my mental power would decrease by 50%" I just kinda paraphrased that but you get the point, right? ^.^;

Out of the two... I guess Id have to say Misa is coolest, mostly becuase Im just like her (Split personality, blonde, goth/emo style, slighty obsessed) >.>

I must say, L is the best character. He's very intelligent, creepy, and freaking hilarious. I especially like his fighting style. I think he would have been able to kick Light's a** if there hadn't been someone to stop them everytime.
