Has any one heard about a sequel to death note?

i herd the was going to be a sequal to deathnote called life note and i wanted to now if it was true and if so more about it

The only sequel I've heard about are hopes and rubish made by fans of death note...can't they just leave well enough alone? There was a spin-off of death note though...it wasn't too good and not really worth watching in my opinion. As far as I can tell...there is no true sequel...

nope because I didn't want to. I find that sometimes, the movie just turns out to be a disapointment...like several other movies that were a continuation of something.

The movies are up to you to decide but I will say alot of content is left out as well as plenty of good parts.

As for your first question, its all rumors about a sequel. The manga was finished 2 years ago and there hasn't been anymore volumes or even talk about another series being made. Besides another series would ruin the story and won't be nearly as good as the original.

Though in reality, there was a live action 'Death Note' prequel produced in Japan. This may be the source of the some of the confusion, as the Madman Australian site for it describes it as a 'sequel'...
