Thread: Has any one heard about a sequel to death note?

Yes. You mean the manga? There is a sequel to the manga... But, i don't know about the anime.

There is no Sequel to the Anime but the Manga has a couple of more things.

my sister has seen the movies and said they are very good

they only "sequel" i can guess is in the back of 13. it has nothing to do with Death Note story line.

Here is what I know.
There are 12 manga storyline books and then a 13th. It is not a sequel but contains additional info.
There is the anime.
There is a very good book (novel) called Death Note: Another note. It is about L and Naomi Misora. Do not read it until you have fininshed the mange, because it has spoilers.
There are two live action movies called Death note and Death note the Last name. The first is released on DVD in the US and follows the story pretty well up to Light and L meet. The second starts from here and is completely different, but I still enjoyed it. Teh second movie comes out on DVD in Feb. The 16th, I believe.
There is a third movie that is about a time jump/skip in the other two movies. It is called Death note: Change the world, and is only about L, I think. I've heard it's not as good as the other two.
There is nothing else I am aware of.

Even if there was a sequel i really doubt it would reach the first one level of quality.

If there were a sequel I'd probably poke my eyes out with my manga-page turning hand.
