Don't post spoilers in the title of a thread. You do realise that his actual name is one of the main things Light is looking for for 80% of the story right? Also, please make it about something people can talk about.

So from now on this thread is about what people think of L from Death Note.

L is way better than Near. I was so angry at the ending! SO ANGRY! **resists urge to post spoilers** L and Light were best friends and worst enemies . . . they were practically the same person, but on opposite sides . . . My favourite part of the series was watching them outwit each other.

I went to Mass on Christmas Eve and there was a baby there, staring at me . . . the child looked almost exactly like L . . . and it just kept staring . . . I mentioned it to my sister and she told me to stop killing people.

I second that opinion fully. It was really deep if you ask me, the whole time they were trying to catch each other, really brought some suspense and really great points in the anime. And everything about L just is awesome. It seems impossible for someone not to love him. Or at least think he's funny.
