Light or L who's smarter?

In my opinion L is smarter than light, he figured everything out from the beginning but just needed to prove it so that everyone believes his theory he did slip up some times. Light on the other hand is smart but he had the help of the death note and eater on his side as if he has super powers . L had the help of the very few FBI and his only old man on his side.

light can be smart at sum times, like how he planned to get his deah note book and tries to kill L, but L is way smarter, knowin his plans and instead of L dying Light dies
just proves that L is way smarter, even if light is the main character
L basically doesnt sleep all night just figurin out the investigation
this realli isnt a question, if uve finished death note completely coz the fact states dat L is SMARTER!!!

doesn't light die in the end of the movie 'death note- the last name'
light gets owned by L, figurin out all of light's plan
but sadly, L onli moved his death date by a couple of weeks, i think he also dies in the end

i think L is really smarter. But its just that he is less fortunate than Light. Light has all the advantages. But if weren't for that.. L can really surpass Light. HE couldn't be dead then.

Hmm... to me.. in intelligence.. they both are equal...

Light is very good in assessing the situation and act accordingly...he knows how to use every angle of his plan and carry them out brilliantly... He would use any means to achieve his objective...

L instead... he can see things in which normal people won't... he have ways in thinking and always try to think ahead of others in order to win. He may be slow but he never acts rashly... ^^

Both have pros and cons... it depends on many things to see who is the most superior...
