I'd say that L is smarter, because he figured out everything about Light without starting with much information, and in certain parts he outsmarted Light, like when he broadcasted the news report saying it was worldwide, but only being shown in his region. Though I think it would havebeen funny if he had to do more than just one announcement.

| Re: Light or L who's smarter? id pretty much think light, he figured out how to outsmart L many times, and pretty much won by killing him. however, his main disadvantage being light knew about the daeth note, and L didnt. if L did he may have won. so..should the real question be is it near or light?...

I think they are both smart, Light because he new what L was doing / going to do and thought about what the outcome of a situation would be if he answerd carelessly or what it would sound like. Also L because he thought outside the square and thought beyond everyone else in the police. |
