I dont think L should have died. He was awesome.

I am so happy that light died but i seem to be the only one who is happy to see him die. I am a major L lover and my room is decked out in stuff about him I went to momocon as misa because i am a girl and my parents would call me crazy if i went as a boy o well but die LIGHT die LIGHT!!!!^^ thats not horrible at all^^(Meep) What do you guys think did you like the fact that Light died or did you like him more because he killed L

L was missed by me too, but it added another dimension to the plot than justice vs. idealism (if you'll allow an oversimplification) and put it on a more human level as well. I always thought both of them would die, since two incredibly strong opposing forces can't exist like that forever. The way that Light died was very human, not the god he tried to be.

I bought the part 1&2 of the movies a couple of weeks ago. Part 1 was so intriguing and great. I love the way Light killed his girlfriend. It was so smart and shocking. Then part 2, I was so glad that Light died, he got what he deserved. I also thought his death was very fitting, the person who created the monster killed the monster. L dying was a big disappointment. I would have liked to see Light die and then the death note passed on so L could still carry on his investigation. I can understand why they killed them both off, the name of it is Death Note so it was only suiting.

Who are you refering too? It is Misa or someone else in DeathNote?
Cause I thought Misa was Light's girlfriend!

Well I watched the movie, he had a girlfriend before Misa, that he planned her death in the Death Note so he could join the task force. So I don't know if it was in the anime or not because I only watch a few of the animed episodes so far.

I finished it yesterday and I am a HUGE Light supporter. Near was good, but I still go for Light. L was better than Near.
