true and near made me mad cause he had that mask of L and matsuda was the kira killer that made me think why didnt he do something in the series sooner he was like the sakura of naruto useless to the plot other than comic relief but does something in the end and near and mello thought of the obvious with teaming up
Misa kills herself by jumping from a rooftop. I hate Light for dying not through L's holy hands, 'cause Near is just a dumbass who's full of himself - trys to REPLACE the greatest detective (after Sherlock Holmes though) world has ever seen. Ridicolous!!
But I would love s sequel of the series - I love Death Note the most, although I know nearly all series ever published. By the way, the mangakas from Death Note already created another series which is going to be turned into anime soon ... *yay*
it's sad that L dies in the manga :(................................................ ..
I was rather disappointed with a few aspects of the ending. For example, L was murdered, although I am pleased that it was not by Light. Mello as well, should have lived. I am glad that Takada, Light, and Mikami were served justice, however. And that Rem perished.
