Thread: Changelings

The Queen smiled at his enthusiasm. She disappeared back to the Keep, wondering how much trouble this new species-These Changelings were going to be for her.

Another small flame danced on Jame's shoulder and simply said "in the armory."

James laughed at the little flame and jumped into it and reappeared inside the armory and looked around while activating his armor and readying his bow and arrow. "Hello? Burrul?" he said while looking around...

Burrul whopped James up side the back of the head with the flat of his sword. "you coulda caught me by surrprrise if you woulda kept yourr mouth shut." Burrul moved away from James and took a ready position. "Time to surrprrise me, Boy!"

James stumbled forward from the hit across the head and turned towards Burrul with a glare, "So you want a suprise huh?" he said and knocked his arrow and pulled it back, "I'll suprise you alright..." The arrow blazed brighter than before and when James released the arrow, it split into three arrows that came at Burrul in different directions. At the same time, James readied his water ball just in case Burrul could defend himself and attack...

Burrul dropped a flame at his feet and stepped into it. But didn't reappear in the armory. A ring of fire surrounded James and began to spin until it was a vortex 4 feet high. The floor became supper heated, starting to melt the rock it was made of. Then Burrul reappeared holding the Neutralizer again.

James wasn't surprised by the failure so he had an ideal. He jumped straight into the flames and teleported right behind Burrul and pushed them both into the hot flames and teleported them back to the ocean. James rolled away from Burrul and lit a big flame and tossed it into the ocean, steam rose from the ocean from where the fire hit and came down as a rain and James tossed the water balls at Burrul and sent his fire balls at it, busting it and spraying Burrul while at the same time kncoking the Neutralizer out of his hand and James knocked the weapon into the woods with a fireball. "What now master?" James smiled and drew his arrow at Burrul again and fired three more arrows at him...

Burrul caught one arrow on his shield and spun with his sword to cut down the other two. Then he threw a fireball at the sand where James was standing, melting it into s slick piece of glass. all the while he was muttering about being soaking wet and having to go find the neutralizer.

"Now that was suprrising. I think next we need to teach you otherr forrms of firre magic and see what distance you can get with thous arrrows of yourrs." Burrul said while trying to shake some of the water off. "And you arre to rretrrieve the Neutrralizerr. If you know wherre you firreballs magic ended it should be easy to find. meet me back at the arrmorry when you have it." with that Burrul stepped into a flame and was gone.
