Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
Kinroto was now pressing the group forward. He pushed them past the markets, past the hotels, past the slums, and even past the half-restaurants. "We have to hurry before the sun hits the horizon. That's when the curfew is," Kinroto kindly explained. "There are rooms by the center for you. When we reach the tower gates, we can go no further. We being my troop and I."
The City was great indeed. Even the slums seemed to have been higher class then the people in Ecchapotoire Village. Everyone was in their homes or in their respective hotels or apartments already however. The law in this city is enforced harshly. And when disobeyed, there is no need for punishment. For if it happens, they're probably already dead. The curfew is the worst law to break. When you do, it was once rumored that a giant flying beast would come and swoop down on you, killing you instantly, then taking you to its nest to eat you limb by limb. That was rumored a long time ago however. Many a time had there been a few to test it out though. Even today, those that break the curfew are never seen again. Strangely enough, within the tower gates, the legend doesn't hold true. It never has. Some say it's because of the mages. Some say it's because the government not wanting to execute the aristocrats. But, for whatever reason it's never happened.
Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
Jep'ray was out of his element in this busy and crowded city. Everything was cobble stone and buildings. The life flow of the land here seemed muted, almost dead with the lack of trees and nature...He kept on his guard as they went deeper into the castle...

OOC: COME ON PEOPLE!!!!! POST! POST! POST! THIS RPG WILL ONLY DIE IF YOU LET IT!!!!
As the group walked on, they came to a secret guard. He seemed as though he knew what they were there for. "Follow me." He stated breifly as he walked to a rather large building to the left of the castle. Opening the door and waiting for the group to get there. After they were there, he pushed every last one of the group inside quickly and slammed the door, locking it. "Your rooms are in there tonight, until otherwise noted by the king!"
The rooms were small and there were only two. The fact remained that there were also only two beds, one that seemed to be big enough for two and the other room was bare cobble stone unfit for sleeping of any kind. There was only one window, that was too small for anything but bugs and birds. In the empty room, however, there was some sort of food provided. It looked like cooked dirt with some grass thrown in.
Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
Poking his head into one of the rooms Andrei gave a snort of disgust. "gods, we're off to kill the wizard thats be plagueing this town, you'd think that they could at least give us something other than this crap." Walking over he gave one of the beds a quick kick, "hell I sleep on the floor, less bugs I bet." With a look of disgust he sat down in the empy room, pulling out a whet stone, he went to work on his sword.
Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
Jep'ray was not pleased. his uneasy feeling had pushed onto his senses since they first steped into this forsaken city. "something is wrong here" he said as he tried to clear a patch of floor with little success and sat cross legged on the floor. He started to meditate to help bring into focus what the problem could be...
Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
Torchwood wanted to break out of here immediately, it was disrespectful to his mistress, and nothing but downright demeaning to the group in general. He may have been prone to taking things to far when it came to matters involving his mistress, but this time he felt that he would have been absolutely justified in his actions. However he knew that if this action was in any way wanted by his mistress than she never would have accepted things happening to begin with.
As he moved over to Dark Angle he was rubbing his hands on the hilts of his daggers, wishing for any hint of the wish for him to do something.
Even more so, and he hoped that his mistress did not register this on his face at all, but this room brought back memories of how his old mistress use to lock him in cage and torchure him, which brought back even more memoies of his past, the good ones of that girl that he has axcepted the fate of never seeing again and his being sold just for the reason of ripping the only thng he had, her, from him. But it turned out being with his new mistress after all. Though he wouldn’t see that girl again, he at least now had a mistress that in stead of being forced, he wanted to be loyal to.
He reached his mistress and stood by her, like always at her side.
Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
As gloom filled the daunt air, night finally came upon the group after what seemed like an eternity of dusk. Some writing on the walls started to faintly glow. They read, "By the gods in the h--- *unintelligible* ---- they give was unbelievable. This i--------------------------------------------------. Gods damn all these fools f---- me so long. ---------- them all. -------------- that ----- would ---------- forsaken wolf trap from hell." It seemed that what was unintelligible was half too scratched up to read and/or written in ancient language. That's all that seemed to light the room even a little besides the three moons. A bird also sings a sad song.
Re: The Great Epic Tale of Fantasy
"The dread of others is soaked into these walls, it is a bad omen" Jep'ray said suddenly as everyone looked at the writing...
