Lysil entered the shaft. The string of lights would most likely run through the mine part of the Elders Lair. But she knew that getting to the main part of the lair was not going to be easy and would have to require everyone working together. This mine was huge inside. Beast had no trouble fitting in at all. Lysil knew that the deeper they went the harder the going got. She hoped that BM had a way to handle that.

they had been traveling for a little over an hour when they came across their first stumbling block. A good part of the ceiling had collapsed over the long years. There was a wall of rubble in front of them with a 3 ft. clearance at the top. "Someone has to go over the top to see how deep the fall is." Lysil sighed.

An image of a sharp crystal spike sticking into the rubble appeared in Beast's mind. He realized that this was a clue on how to proceed. He briefly touched the mind of the elder dragon, realizing then that this being had been around since the age of the dinosaurs, watching and learning.

Climbing up the wall of rubble, BM slipped into the gap, disappearing into the dark gash. He found it tight going, but kept on, searching for a way through.

Suddenly Beast starting revving her engine wildly, jerking backwards & forwards & bouncing up & down on her front suspension. Something was in her mind & she always hated that kinda thing. It was something old, something that had been around since before she'd regained consciousness, back while she had been a Hellhound. It was trying to give her an image, but she didn't care. This reminded her too much of the higher level Demons giving her orders, of chasing down those that ran, of dragging them down to Hell & then...

Seeing a shape in from of her, Beast charged at it, all limbs extended & ready to shred when another shape suddenly skidded to a stop in front of her, his fist slamming down hard on her bonnet & stopping her in her tracks. Calming down, Beast realized Beast Master still had his fist on her bonnet, standing between her & Lysil, the fact noone could see his face failing to block his cold hard stare.

"Settle down now, & tell me why your so spooked. What's the matter?"

Beast told BM about the vision she was still having, BM passing the info on to the rest of the group, asking them to look around. Meanwhile BM stayed beside Beast, keeping a calming hand on the still jittery girl...

What happened? Joe asked when beast had gotten out of her frenzy... I hope she doens't get any more of those attacks because that could be dangerous once we get further. He watched his surroundings, a dark tunnel, few light and a huge wall of rubble up ahead. Can't we just blow that wall away? I'm sure there's nothing hard to that and it wouldn't cost as much energy... He waited for the other's their opinions.

Joe received a mental image of his own and the same sense of ancientness. A pocket of natural gas was directly behind where he wanted to destroy.

Hey you guys I just got a crazy idea, stand back will ya? Joe stepped back a few meters and then he popped a fire bullet into one of his guns. This is going to do some damage... he said before shooting the bullet through the gap in the rubble. The bullet ignited and a few seconds later a big explosion could be heard at the other side. At first nothing happened but a few moments later the wall of rubbish started to collapse. Hurry, get back, it's falling our way! Joe yelled while he grabbed lysil and jack at their arms. Joe looked at beast master and his friends. Hurry! he yelled at them. Then Joe started running away from the collapsing wall.

Lysil stood where Joe had pulled her. She stood tall and began to chant making very similar hand gestgers like she had battling the naga. When she finished the chant her hands held infront of her forcing a gentle wind down into the tunnel where the wall had blown and was now collapsing. once the smoke and gasses had cleared they could see over the top part of the wall.

It was now wide and long enough for most of them to crawl through. Everyone except Beast that is. There was no was the car could fit down the path. Lysil turned to BM and inquired if he had a way to transport Beast? If not she was will to shrink her down in size, if he had a pocket to carry her in.
