The Blakist pilots did not reply instead the two Blackhearts backed off. The damage from the ruptured Infernos were minimal thanks in part of the CASE system installed, how ever with predetinated warheads burning in the Blackhearts chest causing the mechs to redlining temperature wise and were on the verge of shutting down. Do to the over heating their movements were sluggish and were in no shape to fight.
The three Jinggau's how ever turned their attention to the Shadow Hawk. Completely unharmed and were itching for a fight. But they to backed off, all accept one. The nearest Jinggau stood its ground and was at a very close distance, less then 50 Meters away.
The other four blakist retreaved the fallen Atlas and fell back to an unknown position.
It was becoming clear to the pilot of the Shadow Hawk that the enemies faced here were not the bulk of the Blake forces on this planet nor were they regulars, but rather a small contingent of inexperienced expeditionary groups searching for some item.
The mech warriors he was facing on the other hand were skilled and not stupid. If it wasn’t for Debra's intelligence with her communicating with the forces here he would have not know of the heavy mechs advancing on his position and what had happened to the hologram could have very well been him. But that was the past and this was now.
"So were you able to reach that mech warrior and warn him about the Lance of heavy mechs?" Asked Robert.
Debra nodded her head. "He was able to set up a trap and take out an Atlas and cripple two Blackhearts, pretty impressive."
"I'll say, that guy has some mega nuggets down there taking on a heavy lance like that and drive them away."
Robert and the rest of the Lance had just emerged from Jump and was preparing for their infiltration.
