He looks at Ziosin blankly.

“Where? Why would I need this?”

"Read the note." Says Ziosin patiently, as he stops again.

After Sinzio looks over the note, Ziosin simply states "Ryuzi."

Sinzio looks at Ziosin and stares.


“Are you retarded? What are we, academy students going to do against this guy? He KILLED the Hokage. We need to stay here and let the Jounin take care of it. In the mean time we need to worry about getting stronger so we can take Ryuzi one day..”

Ziosin stops and stares back at his only friend. "I guess you're right." He slowly begins to walk back. "You can keep the sword by the way. It doesn't feel right wielding such a lifetaker." he said as he walked past Sinzio.

"Can the jounin really handle such a guy?" he thinks to himself as he walks.

It starts to get light out, so Ziosin heads back to the uchiha section of the town...

Ookami watched in the distance at his two classmates, the one named Ziosin seemed to know death very well, and Sinzio would learn it soon. Ookami walks up to the retreating Ziosin. "I agree with Sinzio, but just in case they can't handle it maybe we should come up with a plan ourselves."

Sinzio turns and smiles at Ookami.


“We’ll get Ryuzi in time, for now we should all go home. The academy is going to be closed and the village needs to recuperate.”

He waves farewell to both Ziosin and Ookami.

After parting ways with Ookami and Sinzio, Ziosin heads to Uchiha section of town...

After finding a suitable tree to sleep under, he sits and leans against it, putting his hat over his face.

"All this in one night. I have more than one friend, and my fat, jolly, A-happy teacher is really a fit, powerful shinobi who assassinated the Hokage. Well, life is starting to get interesting..." he smiles at the irony of the current state of things as he drifts slowly to sleep...

Meanwhile at the Konoha Military and Police Corps building, a meeting is being held with Konoha Officials.

There are twelve shinobi in the meeting room, each sitting at a long mauve square table, the table has the Konoha emblem etched in the center.




“Do we have a location on Ryuzi Shinhai?” a short Konoha Shinobi asks, he’s wearing a green chuunin flak jacket.

“No. he somehow managed to escape without detection and he hasn’t left any visible trails.” Another shiniobi answers, she’s wearing a long over coat that bears the Uchiha Symbol on the back.

A man screams in protest.

“This is completely absurd! What kind of lackluster village lets their Hokage get assassinated by one man! Not only that, the man also escapes cleanly, without a scratch!”

A Hyuuga sitting across from him speaks calmly, it’s Hyuuga Lloyd.

“Gatto you’re out of line, evidence clearly shows that Shinhai had many accomplices.”


“Be that as it may, the security of this village is no where near up to par with today’s standards! The Uchiha are supposed to be managing and enforcing our military and defense!”

During the heated debate, another shinobi enters the room, he’s holding a small tape.

“We have visual confirmation of Ryuzi’s whereabouts after the assassination of the Hokage.

They view the tape


“It shows him in a short conflict with two academy students. After his accomplices prompt him he departs, leaving behind what we’ve identified as a headband, two short blades, and a note.”

Gotto gets out of his chair, and begins to speak.


“We must find these students and bring them in for questioning immediately!”

The shinobi with the tape replies.

“We’ve already dispatched four black op members to return them here for interrogation. The students have been identified as Uchiha Ziosin and Inuzuka Ookami”
